Approx. 20 ga equivalent wire - a medium-thin wire. Fine silver is pure, 99.9% silver (as opposed to sterling - which is 92.5% silver). Round in profile. Temper is half hard, but easy to anneal. Fine silver does not tarnish to the same degree as sterling, does not work-harden (get stiff and brittle as you bend it). This is the size that was used in our enamelling class. As much as possible, we try to send your order in one piece. If it is critical, please let us know.
