Fine Silver Bead Cores. 3/8 in wide 999 Fine Silver (pure silver).

Use as a base for making a large hole bead. You can stitch around it, bead over it, wrap in wire, polymer clay, etc.

You can also use to make lampwork beads on them. The fine silver can be worked without melting if you work the glass cool - at the tip of the flame, and keep the silver core out of the flame. You may find that you will get some fuming from the silver which will colour your glass - clear will go golden-yellow for instance. To hole them, jam them onto a stainless steel chopstick while working.
