Noreena Jasper

Noreena Jasper - another ancient stone from the oldest part of the world. It is from the late Archaean and was deposited some 2.6 billion years ago. That some OLD stone! It is a silicified pelite (mudstone).

It is dark red, orange and beige, and the patterns tend to be geometric and angular, although that's actually pretty hard to tell when it is slced into beads.

Metaphysically - like all jaspers - use it for nuturing, protecting, and grounding, absorbing negative energy, cleansing and aligning the chakras, enabling determination and courage, attaining goals and overcoming obstacles, aiding quick thinking and organizational skills.
