Bezel - gallery wire. Decorative gallery wire makes up this handsome, calibrated bezel. Takes 30 x 40 cabochons or oval beads. Place the cabochon in the bezel, and using a wooden dowel (or a chopstick or pencil), bend the prongs of the wire over onto the stone to hold it in place. Start on one side, bend over 4, then turn, and do the same on the opposite side, then turn and do again, until they are all bent down and the stone is secure. (Beads are a little thicker at the edges, and may require glue - e6000 or 2-part epoxy as well or instead.)
