Crystal Quartz (Rock Crystal) is a naturally occurring clear and colorless Quartz. It is a crystalline form of Quartz (doh!) said to have many divine properties including the ability to amplify and radiate the energy put into it and help individuals achieve their goals. Due to its color and clarity, until the 17th century Crystal Quartz was believed to be permanently frozen water. In other words, winter in Canada.

Quartz crystal, also known as "Rock Crystal" - a colourless transparent stone - origin of the term "rhinestone." Small, tumbled quartz stones were found in the bed of the river Rhine and initially thought to be diamonds. When it became apparent that these stones did not have the hardness of diamond, but were a passable simulation, the term "rhinestone" came to be synonymous with "imitation diamond."
