Swarovski Twist - Beads, Pendants, Sew-On Stones
Once upon a time, Swarovski made an interesting faceted disk called a Pagoda. But they were expensive to make, and many broke during the manufacturing process, and the line was discontinued. But the idea never went away.
Now they have re-designed the faceted disk and renamed it the "Twist." It shares many features with the old Pagoda beads - the barrel-slat faceted at right angles on opposite sites, giving a checkerboard pattern, and the gentle curved surface - but the edges are a little thicker, and the hole placement is different, and more of them survive manufacturing.
