national-craft-month-logo

Yes, there really is a National Craft Month! But does crafting (including knitting, beading, or any ‘handmade’ activity) actually make a difference! YES! It has been shown that crafting:

  1. Improves your Mood
  2. Boosts your Brainpower
  3. Increases Social Activity & Communal Support
  4. Helps with Hand-Eye Coordination
  5. Can Help Fight Aging

We have several new classes in early March that will fire up your imagination. Pamela Kearns has three classes including creating loomed bracelet on the new Endless Loom; a new way of using epoxy clay and a new peyote project using two-hole beads. If you already know how to loom, you’ll love Christine Woollacott’s new loomed bracelet that you can weave 3D embellishment as you work. If you’ve wanted to learn chainmaille, Gillian Clarke will teach you a great introductory project. We also have encore classes with Jen Rosen and Anne Marie Desaulniers in case you couldn’t previously fit them into your schedule. And of course, we have lots of open sessions where you can start or finish off projects with the help of the facilitator.

Here the classes and open sessions scheduled March 1 to March 10:
