It’s a rocky road indeed, full of toil and whoa – look at this! Is this some Labradorite I see before me? Why, yes, yes it is. We are blessed with an unusually fine selection of Labradorite today. Pendants and faceted stones – to go with our existing rather nice Labradorite clasps. You can do the whole Labradorite thing!
I’m not trying to buffalo you – but we have also some more of the White Buffalo Stone, or White Howlite, in both polished and matte finishes. Howlite is often presented dyed as an imitation Turquoise, or by unscrupulous vendors, actually as Turquoise. Which is too bad, as the purity of the white and grey of the original stone makes a handsome statement by itself.
Speaking of dyed … these stones definitely have their color, ahem, enhanced. I mean – look at that fuchsia! If anything came out of the ground that color, by itself and without enhancement, you’d have to mortgage your house to buy it. These are Chalcedony, Agate, or other stones, colored in what the trade likes to call “fashion” colors – which is code for “unrealistic.” I really like the blue myself. No mortgage required.
and in case you want to see what I mean – these are the natural agate drops. We have those too.
We also have some strands of faceted gemmy goodness. These look so awesome by themselves, but of course, you can take them apart and enchant them with your own design magic!
All in all – some extremely delicious choices this week. As always, you can click on an image or a link to be whisked to that item or category, or go here to see all the new stuff.
