The most requested item we have had lately is for wood. Most specifically – sandalwood beads for mala bracelets and guru beads. And so we now have them – aromatic sandalwood and cedar wood beads, and guru bead sets. You ask – we go find them for you.
But also in the theme of wood – we also have some new designs in these lovely, light, laser cut wood pendants. You can use these as is – or alter them with paint or stain (oil-based sharpies work particularly well for adding color.)
From the gallery of obscure beads – we have uncovered a secret stash of odd-size seed beads. These are Czech 3-cut size 9/0 seed beads, which are somewhere between size 8/0 and size 10/0. Doh.
We also have a small stash of limited colors of size 16/0s. These are ridiculously tiny but are sought out by experienced bead-weavers. I think there might be a phenomenon like needing increasingly smaller beads, the more addicted you get to beading … . Hmm – maybe there should be a study about that. Think we could get a grant?
Also new this week on the seedy-beady side of the street – the size 5/0 Miyuki Triangles.
As usual , go here to see all the new stuff! Cheers!
