Introducing: BeadFX Comprehensive Summer Courses!

If you’ve said to yourself ‘I REALLY want to learn all about that!’ but haven’t had the time to take several individual project-based classes, then our new initiative for this summer will be perfect for you.

Several of our instructors have created intensive, multiple day courses so you can gain as much as possible knowledge and experience about a particular technique or medium as efficiently as possible. Included with the classes will be multiple projects that you can choose from to learn and hone your skills.

Coming from out-of-town to visit Toronto and want to add to your vacation fun? Great! The store location is easily accessed from major highways and public transit.

Comprehensive courses will take place weekdays and many will start before the store opens. Some classes will run as little as four hours within a day; others will run several days within a week. Our roster of regular project-based classes will continue weeknight evenings and weekends.

The Summer Courses will cover a variety of jewellery-making mediums including metalwork, Cavandoli/micro-macrame, seed beading, metal clay, enamelling, and more!

Is there any provision for renting out the lampworking studio?
a friend of mine, Astrid Riedel, is interested in coming to teach inToronto next year.
With whom can I speak about organizing a class?
    thanks

Hi Esther, yes our lampwork studio is available for rent. You can go to our website at http://www.beadfx.com and scroll right down to the bottom. Under “About Us and our Store” is a link “Lampwork Studio”. Click on it and you’ll have all the information about our rental fees and the types of torches that we have. If your friend is interested in teaching, she is welcome to email me (pam@beadfx.com) with a class proposal. I’m the class coordinator and I’ll review it and get back to her about possibilities in 2018. Thanks so much for your inquiry!
