Such fun we had last Saturday! A demo by the talented team of Karina Guevin and Cedric Ginart – demonstrating making one of their signature glass goblets for a bus-load of excited collectors! Who knew we could pack so many into the studio! Celebrity glass blower Laura Donefer and renowned glass artist Susan Edgerley were also in attendance. These world-class artists put Canada on the map in the glass world! Plus – they are all super-nice people!

An awful photo (grabbed with my phone and couldn’t get away from the distracting background!) of the finished piece – still warm and maybe not finished yet. The goblet is a play on the traditional Venetian glass style – with a large dose of whimsy – Monsieur Renard wears a bow and purple bunny ears …
