What do you think of, when I speak of nature’s treasures? If you’re thinking gemstones, you would certainly be right, but not in this particular context. Bubble Leather Bracelet Designed by: Pam Kearns Here’s a great way to add some texture to laser-cut flat leather using ‘O’ beads and some drops. You can also use other shaped beads for sharper points or more texture. “Bubbles” magically sit atop laser-cut leather in this wonderfully textured bracelet. Easily done in two hours (or less!) Southwest Leather Bracelet Designed by: Pam Kearns You just can’t stop me from adding beads – even to laser-cut leather! The openings in the leather area perfect size for 8/0 seed beads. I’ve used a southwest colour theme, but feel free to change it up! Use simple bead embroidery to embellish laser-cut leather reminiscent of a Navajo blanket design. Instructions: Trim length and width of suede strip to cover the laser-cut portion of the leather strip, extending it about 1/2″ on either side of the pattern. Huichol, Huicholing. To Huichol. Huichol has become a verb around here – we use it to describe the process of covering something with beads. It started when we started carrying the Beadswax, and it is now just part of our lexicon. So recently I found this artist – Jan Huling – who is working in a similar vein.
