I am still having a lot of fun with the elastic bracelets.Bracelets are much easier to make if you don’t need to add a clasp, and they are easy to wear. Easy to wear lots of them at once, actually – just grab a handful and go.
These Swarovski iridescent blue pearls are really lovely -and the sea turtle is a nice accent. Use the big hole needle – as the hole in the pearls is smallish, and put the tassel opposite the turtle. The hole in the turtle is bigger – so if you put the knot next to the turtle – the knot will work its way inside the turtle and disappear. String 9 pearls, the tassel, 9more, add the turtle, and make a knot.
I can’t remember when I had so much fun making jewelry -these elastic bracelets are really addictive to make. For this one, I used the clear stretch magic, but you can use whichever one you have on hand. I started by looping the elastic through the loop on the dragon – and tying a knot. Then string 10 beads (more or less) on one side, and 10 on the other, and knotting the two together.
You know – there is no reason why you couldn’t do stretch necklaces too – just keep going with the beads… just sayin’
