I wanted to do something with these Apatite beads - the colour is so lovely - although, I have to admit, it is more greenish in real life than is currently showing my monitor for some of these pics, anyway.

The key with these was using the double drilled beads, but staggering them for multiple rows. Using the tiny charlottes gave me a lot more control in terms of adjusting the spacing between the beads. I did quite a bit of fiddling to get them to match and lay nice - I've included a pic with the actual bead counts - but you might have to tweak it a little, as these are Czech beads and vary a little in size.

For the centre, bottom flat round bead, I ran wire though, and up the back of the bead, and wrapped at the top. I put a bit of a zig zag in the wire after, just to make it more interesting. To do this, grasp the wire gently but firm, and just rotate your wrist, holding the wire, to give about a quarter turn.

Use a 2 mm round on either side of the upper coin bead - the charlottes just go into the holes, and the same for the lower center rectangle. Flank the pendant coins with 3 mm - to prevent the wire loop from moving and riding up on the charlottes.
