I had two challenges facing me with making this bracelet. One was that I wanted to use these lovely Kambara Jasper squares. These beautiful green stones with swirls of black were just speaking to me.

The other challenge was that I wanted to combine them with these connectors that are designed for 3-strand construction. I did not want the squares flipping over, despite that they have just the one hole through them.

My eventual solution was to criss-cross the outer two strands of beading wire on the back of the squares. This is on the back, and so doesn't show in regular wear. If I were to make this again, I think I might use the Black softflex so that is blends more with the stone, or use the Extreme Silver Softflex, so that it is  brighter and looks more like part of the design.
