Back in the day, when horses were the main mode of transport, it was
fashionable to have your carriage pulled by matched horses - matched
pairs or multiples of pairs.
In the spirit of that, how about matched pairs of bracelets? Course, you don't want them to be exactly the same - because then you get that "matchy-matchy" thing goin' on. So, two, almost the same - obviously a set, but each a little different?
We have two bracelets - the clasps are different, and the tone of each bracelet is the same, but they are a little different. They feature the Zinc spacers, so they won't break the bank (yeah - I know, who are you and what have you done with Dwyn?). One features a clasp that I pulled out of my stash - we had it in the store a while back but it is made with a carved vintage cabochon, so if you didn't snap it up then ... .
The other has a newer clasp - in sterling - because it looked just right. Be aware, the Sterling silver clasp will tarnish with time whereas the Zinc spacers will not. And finally - the second bracelet uses the donuts as well as the nuggets.
This pair looks excellent in this month's stone of the month, Onyx, , but you could do this in one of the other stone beads as well!
Each bracelet as made is about 8.5 inches long - but remember - I like 'em long and you might not.
