The soft pinks and blues of the Powder Blue Impression Jasper strike me as very soothing and pretty. I went to town and make a whole suite of items from this lovely stone. (Watch in the following weeks for my other combinations.)

My first thought was to combine gold-plated metal findings and beads with the Powder Blue Impression Jasper, but I found I did not care for the look. The bright copper metal beads and finding - that was another story, however! The combination is gorgeous! The pinky tones of the bright copper perfectly complement the soft translucent aqua and contrasting opaque pinky color of this Impression Jasper.

Necklace 1 - Moon Princess

Like a princess's tiara - this Link/Connector finding fits perfectly over the 30 mm coin beads. Use pliers to bend the very ends over to fit over the holes. String through the end loop of the connector and then the bead! I used copper artistic wire to string these, instead of beading cable, with a crimp between (uncrimped) for spacing. I made a loop at each end, and used the extra wire to work back along the back of the beads. This prevents them from rotating, so that the front is always visible.

From there, I strung the 8 mm beads, with a crimp bead (uncrimped - they were the perfect size for a spacer, and as I had a full pack of them ... ) between each one. I used the red econoflex, but a copper colored beading cable would work very well too.

I finished off the necklace with a lobster claw and a few jumprings for additional length.
