If beading were baking, then 4 mm firepolish beads would be one of those staples that you would always keep in the beading pantry. They are versatile enough to use as the main design element, or as an accent for something bigger and flashier. You can string them with stone, metal, work them in bead weaving projects, wire them, put them on elastic – do whatever with them!
We found a stash of custom colors from a now out-of-business company – so not sure we can get more of these, unless we manage to locate the original manufacturer. 22 Fun new colors like Vintage Coral, Midnight Blue, and Turquoise Reloaded.
Fun new stuff in the metal beads and charms too! This dragon descending a staircase is a medium sized charm, a small pendant, or two makes earrings. If not a dragon, how about a dragonfly? And if that doesn’t strike the right note, there is this Troubled Clef, which is is a Treble Clef that has been hanging out with the Ampersands.
A number of new “big hole” beads too – for leather, satin cord, kumi, viking knit, braided bracelets.
As always – click on an image or link above to go to that item, or check out all the new stuff this week!
