Summer Daze – 3 in 1 Necklace

BeadFX Inspiration – Anne Marie Desaulniers

I was thinking summer when I collected these beads, but that was quite a while ago. I put them in a safe place, and promptly lost them! So, when I finally unearthed them, I found out that all of the frosted glass beads were on special, for 40% off. I’m not actually sure if this colour selection is still available*, but if it’s not, we can suggest alternatives.

The vibe I was looking for was cool, calm, fresh, summery, and oh so wearable! My original design was for a single strand necklace, but then I decided to add a second strand, utilizing some of our paper clip chain. Then, I thought to myself, why not make that second strand optional? So that’s what I did! Now the necklace can be worn as a single strand, a double strand, or the add-on piece can be worn on its own.

Congratulations your 3 in 1 Necklace is finished!

Other considerations:

If the frosted glass beads are sold out, you could substitute Semi-precious. Clear Frosted Quartz, is a good substitute for the frosted glass.

As for the blue beads, you will probably need to select another blue colour, as I’m not sure that we have anything similar to the glass. Amazonite would be nice (especially the really good stuff), but you’re not really limited to blue at all! I would probably just choose a 10mm stone that I really love, then choose the 6mm after that. BeadFX staff will be able to help you with your selection.

Perhaps Dwyn can weigh in with other suggestions!

(Dwyn’s note – I put a link above to the other color choices. I really love the multi-strand flexibility of this, and I think it would look great in lots of different colorways. You could even make multiple versions and mix and match!)
