Jewellery Making 101

General In-Studio Class outline

Course outline:

Are you new to jewellery making? Do you need to brush up on some basic skills? Join Pamela Kearns to discover easy it is to make jewellery for yourself, friends and family!

We’ll begin by learning how to create a crimped bracelet that you’ll design. Once that is complete, we’ll create a couple pairs of earrings. Along the way you’ll learn about the tools, techniques, and materials so you can continue to create.

Type of class: This is a physical class in the Classroom. The class will be kept small (no more than 8 students). Everyone will be required to wear a mask at all times during the class.

Class Cost: $57.00

Kit fee: $20.00 payable to the instructor the day of the class.

Kit includes:

• Everything needed to create a bracelet and earrings,
• including beading wire,
• findings,
• and detailed instructions and reference notes.
• Students are encouraged to bring beads for their designs; a variety of beads will be provided to supplement your materials.

Skill level: Beginner

Prerequisite: N/A

Technique: General jewellery making

Bring to class:

• A variety of beads,
• stones,
• pearls to create your bracelet and earrings.
