Peyote Stitch Arrowhead Pendant
Create a simple and fun pendant using triangular peyote!
This plump little pendant will get lots of complements! The 3D shape is made by “zipping” together flat triangles of peyote stitch and adding some stuffing. An odd-count peyote stitch bail is grafted on so you can hang your pendant.
Type of class: Virtual. A few days prior to the class you will be sent an email containing the class instructions and the electronic link to the Zoom class. Once these instructions have been sent, refunds and cancellations will not be permitted.
Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of flat peyote stitch. It will be helpful – but is not essential – to know how to make a peyote triangle.
Technique: Triangular Peyote
Have for class:
- Beading needle and your choice of beading thread (Fireline 6lb works).
- Delica cylinder beads in two or more colours in size 11/0, 10/0 or 8/0 depending on the size of pendant you want to make (you can’t mix the sizes)
- Any unwanted “junk” seed beads (size 11/0 – 8/0) for stuffing the pendant.
- A 2mm leather or cord necklace or a chain, for hanging your pendant.
