Warped Squares Peyote Stitch Earrings
Make some fun and funky earrings!
The warped square is the basis for many 3D forms in geometric beadwork. It also makes the cutest earrings! Learn the basics of how to make this shape, make a pair of earrings, then experiment with more colours and patterns.
Type of class: Virtual. A few days prior to the class you will be sent an email containing the class instructions and the electronic link to the Zoom class. Once these instructions have been sent, refunds and cancellations will not be permitted.
Skill level: Beginner/Intermediate
Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of flat peyote stitch. It will be helpful but not essential to know how to make a peyote triangle.
Technique: Peyote stitch – geometric
Have for class:
- A beading needle and your choice of beading thread (Fireline™ 6 lb works)
- Miyuki Delica beads size 11/0 (size 10/0 will work too)
- 15/0 seed beads for edging (optional)
- Two fine wire 22g jump rings for attaching ear wires – these need to go through the hole of your Delicas (if unavailable, you can make a bead loop using 15/0 seed beads instead).
- Ear wires of your choice
