Red Creek Jasper is named for the Red River in China where the stone was first discovered (2010). Its colors include burnt red, mustard yellow, olive green and gray to green, and it can be mottled or striated with veins of these colors. Jasper is an opaque, microcrystalline form of Quartz, revered by ancient civilizations as a sacred stone of protection.
