C-Lon Cord is a heavy, twisted nylon light cord that is fairly stiff. It is small enough to fit though most beads 6 mm. It is great for finger weaving, micro macrame or crochet - we mean with beads, but, of course, you are free to use it without beads - I suppose - if you wanted to … . This medium weight is the classic size that most people start with.
It is an excellent bead cord for micro macrame, bead crochet with 8/0 or larger seed beads, stringing, and kumihimo. It's available a huge range of colours and has a 34 lb breaking strength, and is approx. 0.5 mm in diameter (Tex 210).
Due to the size of the spools – we can not ship these using our experimental, flat envelope, letter mail shipping. (They are thicker than 3/4 inch limit). Packages with these will use our regular shipping methods.
