C-Lon Heav (Tex 400) bead cord is a bonded, 3-ply twisted, multi-filament, nylon thread. It is considered a heavy weight cord, and is 0.9 mm in diameter. with a 75 lb breaking strength.

Use for micro macrame, stringing beads with large holes and other techniques such as bead crochet, finger weaving, kumihimo, tatting, woven friendship bracelets, as well as anything else a strong bonded nylon is suitable for.

C-lon Heavy Weight Bead Cord (CLC.400) is our largest size of cord, preferred for micro-macrame and other projects that require a thick beading cord. Industry size Tex 400, each bobbin of nylon cord measures 1.25" x 1.625" and has approximately 39 yards (36m) per bobbin. CLC.400 is approximately .9mm in diameter with a breaking strength of 75 lbs. Made in the USA.
