Rubber, or maybe silicone - not stretchy - slightly yielding, but not actually stretchy. This is a surprisingly handsome bracelet to wear just by itself, with a rugged, industrial chic look. Fold over clasp is quite secure (you might need to pry it open with something the first few times if you don't want to break a nail). Length is adjustable from 6.5 to 8 inches. And you can remove the clasp altogether and put it back on after easily - just depending on what you want to do with it. Wears well - I've been wearing mine in the shower and everything and no change at all. Clasp is shiny finish. Nickel free. Possible latex - avoid if latex allergy. New manufacturer.
