In writing this week’s blog I looked up synonyms for love; after all, Valentine’s Day is coming up. I found words like ‘adore’, ‘immensely enjoy’ and quite a few others that were not appropriate for any blog. So, let’s see what words we can use!
Our mid-February classes feature quite a few new classes that you’ll treasure. Pamela Kearns is teaching the Dot Stitch – a variation of spiral rope that creates clusters that resemble little beaded beads that you’ll want to include in your designs. Anne Marie Desaulniers has a new bead embroidery project that seed beaders will cherish. Chainmaille devotees will immensely enjoy a new project with Gillian Clarke. Angela Peace is offering a buffet of Chinese knotting techniques in a new class format that will ignite your passion for fiber arts. Okay, enough already!
We also have several encore classes in case you couldn’t fit them into your schedule before now, including introductory classes on lampworking, soldering, and working with base metal and fine silver metal clays. We are also repeating how to drill stones (this class has filled twice before), working with new enamelling techniques, and a twisted wire project.
