Snowdrops

This project adds a bit of sparkle!

Earrings:

1. On the headpin, stack one 6mm round crystal and the waterlily flower bead, open side down. Start a wrapped loop to finish the component. Before finishing the wrapped loop, slip the loop onto one end link of the 10-link length of medium curb chain. Finish wrapping the loop.

2. On a second headpin, stack another 6mm round crystal and a waterlily bead, open side down. Again, start a wrapped loop to finish the component. Before finish the wrapped loop, slip the loop onto the other end link of the same 10-link length of chain. Finish wrapping the loop.

3. Open the loop of the earwire of your choice and attach the chain, near the midpoint, to the earwire. I counted up seven links from one of the flowers so that they would hang offset from each other.

4. Repeat Steps 1 through 3 for the second earring.

Pendant:

1. Cut a 7-link length of medium curb chain (same as used for the earrings). Add the jump ring to one end link of the chain; this will act as the bail for the pendant.

2. One each of 6 headpins, stack one 6mm round crystal and one waterlily, open side down. Finish each component with a simple loop.

3. Add one component to the end of the chain (not the end with the jump ring). Add the remaining crystal/flower components along the remaining length of the chain so that they cluster. Make sure that your simple loops are well closed so they won’t slip off the chain.

4. To finish, slip a cord, leather or other chain through the jump ring bail.

You can make the pendant as long and as full as you want with more crystal/flower components. You can also create earrings by using the same kind of clustering.
