Lampwork focal beads by Carol Ann Savage. An artist who, if you were looking for a word to describe her work – Savage is about the last word you would pick. However, her skills are savage. The result is sweet, but the talent is fierce. I encourage you to check out her work and nab yourself a piece. Like many artists – she may do something similar, but it will never be the same, so if you like, buy it before someone else does!

Metallic glass beads
I had to test these Metallic Glass Beads – we wanted to make sure the metallic coating was durable, and they passed with flying colours! Why would you want these versus metal beads? Well – the weight of them makes them drape very nicely, and unlike metal beads – which tend to be hollow (to reduce the cost), they are much easier to string – not spending so much time fishing around for the hole on the other side of the bead.
