They were historically the period following the cosmic rising of the star Sirius, which Greek and Roman astrology connected with heat, drought, sudden thunderstorms, lethargy, fever, mad dogs, and bad luck. They are now taken to be the hottest, most uncomfortable part of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. One of the many highlights of being the class coordinator is the opportunity to contact instructors from around the world and inviting them to come to BeadFX. In the past we’ve had such notable instructors as Jill Wiseman, Sara Sally LeGrande, Robyn Cornelius and Hadar Jacobson.
