Where did my creative summer go? I always have such big plans, but it seems that I’ve been bogged down with a couple of ongoing projects. The Bead-A-Long has been consuming a lot of energy, yet there’s also my latest Bead Encrusted Orb taking up a lot of my time. I love my freedom, but somehow these two feel a little heavy on my creative palette. That doesn’t mean that I haven’t enjoyed beading them, but it’s August 30th, and fall is just around the corner. Juggling W.I.P.’s Daily! What’s a girl to do?

If you’re juggling W.I.P.’s daily (works in progress), how will you find time for your other projects? Not a great way to handle your creative life, but somehow juggling W.I.P.’s is the way to go. Unfinished projects (U.F.O.’s) are part of the creative life. You either love them, or hate them! I like piling them in a box, then discovering buried treasure somewhere down the line. It’s exciting! Of course, I might end up cutting them up, and making something completely new, but that’s just the way it goes. Right now, I’m juggling a couple of different Embellished Orbs, then …
