Merry Christmas! I'm joining Dwyn on our 12 earrings of Christmas project.  My first challenge was 11 Pipers, piping...hmmmm...Plaid! Well, that was my inspiration anyway ;-)

I'm feeling somewhat shamed looking at Dwyn's more detailed step by step photo's - and I do apologize for only having the finished pics.

Step 1 -  wire wrap the two briolettes. You can use one of 2 methods - whichever you feel more comfortable with. If you're new to wrapping briolettes, either practice first with craft wire, or feel free to substitute artistic wire over the sterling.

Step 2:  attach a single jump ring to the loop in your briolette, and then hang that on your earwire.

For each earring, you'll be making 7 wire wrapped dangles with 4 red crystals, and 3 black crystals. For instructions on how to create a wrapped loop - see here.

Wire these into both the loop of the briolette, and the jump ring. Feel free to just wrap these on in a random fashion. They'll pretty much cascade down on their own. If you want a fuller look, keep wrapping on more dangles until you're happy with the look/fullness.
